Our Mission

Our Mission

The Muhammadi Trust is a charitable endowment that promotes Islamic spirituality and Self-Knowledge based on Prophetic traditions.

It publishes books, holds seminars and encourages contributions from established scholars that prioritises the universal and transformative nature of the Prophetic message; that in understanding the true nature of our own selves through outer practice and inner reflection, we learn to fulfil our real purpose in creation.

I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me. (Quran 51:56)

He who knows himself know his Lord – Prophet Muhammed (saw)

How could I worship Him whom I do not know – Imam Ali (as)

The divine message of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was conveyed through the revelation of the holy Quran, his traditions, his perfect character and conduct, and the continuation of this transmission through the Ahlul Bayt (as).

”If the heart is sound, then the whole body is sound; if the heart is sick, then the whole body is sick” – Prophet Muhammad (from The Prophetic Traditions in Islam)

Al-Sadiq (as) said, “Surely the heart is constantly murmuring in the recess of the body, demanding the Truth; if the Truth reaches it, then it finds ease and rest.”  (from The Prophetic Traditions in Islam)

In a time of major global upheaval and uncertainty, it is our sincere and humble aim, God willing, to promote these teachings of Islam that bring with them the pathway to the perfect balance of inner light and tranquillity with outer practices and courtesies.
